About Me
Growing up in rural upstate New York the only thing I ever wanted to be was a doctor. As I began my undergraduate studies, I realized the tendency of medicine to mask symptoms rather than treat the underlying cause of the condition.
I initially became a massage therapist and enjoyed helping many people with their pain, although I developed a special passion for working with pregnant women and cancer patients. I also trained as a birth doula, allowing me to further assist women during childbirth.
I then realized I wanted to be able to do more for my clients that I could do as a massage therapist. About that time, I realized that chiropractors fit my model of health care and knew that this was the type of physician I wanted to be!
I went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. While at Logan, I also obtaining a certificate in pediatrics.
I believe that chiropractic can support every body, regardless of their current state of health. I incorporate a variety of chiropractic techniques including low force and soft tissue techniques to help patients.
While I believe chiropractic is for everybody I continues to have a great passion for working with women and children. This new environment and partnership at St. Louis Women's Healthcare Group allows me to give greater care and a collaborate partnership with the physicians here to further provide care for the whole patient!
